Who says the kids of today don’t have some good ones among them?
Tyler Opdyke showed up at a woman’s door with something in his hand. It was a wallet and he returned it to its rightful owner with $1,500 inside.
When the homeowner didn’t answer the door, the teen showed the wallet to the security camera and left it under the doormat.
He was known in the news as an anonymous good Samaritan until a family member told reporters who he is. When reporters contacted Opdyke, he just said he was following the golden rule.
“I just really thought about what I would want someone to do if I were to drop my wallet,” Opdyke told KOVR. “And then I thought about the house. I thought about the family who lived there.”
