What’s the longest time you spent away from your family as a child? These 7 foster children just spent 1,359 days apart before finally being adopted into a single home in Effingham County, Georgia.
Cases like theirs rarely have a happy ending, but fortunately Josh and Jessaka Clark weren’t afraid of a big family. The Clarks already had one biological son, but decided to adopt back in 2015. Last year they learned about the 7 separated children and immediately began the complicated process to bring them back together.
“They moved in with us on Aug. 5 and have been waiting every day for our court date to finalize,” Jessaka told local Fox affiliate Fox News 23. As of May 9th, 2017, the “Super 7” have official joined the Clark family.
The Clarks posted an image of all eight children on Facebook with the message “This picture sums it all up!! 13,000 children in foster care in the state of Georgia… minus 7!!!”
Now the family of 10, Jessaka, Josh, Maria, Elizabet, Guillermo, Jason, Kristina, Katerin, James and Noah, are happier than ever!
