Sylvia Martin has reached out through Facebook asking for help picking a wedding dress. The 93-year-old bride and great-grandmother is about to marry her long time friend, Frank Raymond, 88.
Their wedding is scheduled for the 25th of July, 2017. The adorable couple captured the hearts of a nation when they appeared on the Today Show earlier this month and revealed that Frank has been asking Sylvia to marry him for the last 20 years. For two decades she declined his offer out of respect for her deceased husband, but this time she changed her mind.
Last year she became ill and moved to Canberra, where the rest of her family lives, and Frank feared the worst. After she recovered, Sylvia convinced Frank to move from his home in Adelaide to Canberra to be closer to her.
