Ariana Grande was faced with some difficult choices after a cowardly terrorist detonated a bomb that killed 22 people at her show in Manchester, England. The 23-year-old pop star put her tour on hold and quietly offered to pay the funeral costs for the victims. She returned home with her mother and stayed quiet out of respect for those who were lost. Grande posted a simple tweet to express her condolences,

She later expressed feelings of guilt and responsibility for the tragedy thinking that the victims may still be alive had they not attended her concert. Patrick Millsaps, a father of three young fans, learned about her concerns and decided it was time to “set her straight.” He wrote the following open letter to the young star,
