10-year-old Autistic girl sings ‘Hallelujah’ so beautifully the audience is moved to tears

Little Kaylee, a 10-year-old Autistic girl with a beautiful singing voice, has become an internet sensation overnight.

Kaylee is a member of Killard House School’s student choir, and her vocal skills have carried her directly into the spotlight. In a viral video released earlier this week Kaylee gives a beautiful performance of the late Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” that’s leaving viewers in tears.

Colin Millar, Kaylee’s principal, discusses why her ability to stand alone before an audience is such a triumph. He told UTV “For a child who came in P4 and wouldn’t really talk, wouldn’t really read out in class, to stand and perform in front of an audience is amazing. It takes a lot of effort on Kaylee’s part.”
