After losing her kittens, an outdoor cat named Miss Kitty became the surrogate mother for a litter of abandoned puppies.
The mama dog, Smoochie, wouldn’t have anything to do with her pups despite their whines and yelps.
Miss Kitty’s motherly instincts must have taken over, because she couldn’t bear listening to their cries.
One by one, Miss Kitty carried each and every pup to a nest she had made in the bottom of a trailer.
Her owners pulled the cat and pups to a safer spot, and then contacted local reporters.
What happened next surprised everyone.
