One of the most iconic Halloween cartoons, Disney knocked it out of the park with this one.
It was produced and directed by Walt Disney himself.
The Skeleton Dance was voted #18 of the 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time.
It was labeled a “Silly Symphony” and it was animated by Ub Iwerks. If you’re familiar with Disney trivia, Iwerks was a big player in the history of the studio.
The skeletons dance in a bunch of different ways, they hold hands and do a bit of a ring around the roses, then one skeleton pulls off another’s thigh bones to play his ribs like a xylophone.
