Cop responds to noise complaint, finds groomsmen engaged in unusual wedding tradition

A Carrollton, Texas police officer responded to a call about loud noise, but when he arrived and saw THIS? He never expected what happened next.

Sergeant Todd Burnside was going to check out a noise complaint when he pulled up to a group of men who looked to be huddled down together. It was a dark parking lot. He got out of his squad car and the whole thing was captured on his body cam.

Sgt. Burnside asked the men if they were partying. One man replied, “We’re having a dance practice.” That’s when Sgt. Burnside found out these were groomsmen at an upcoming wedding and they’d been meeting together for four weeks to practice a big dance surprise.

They’re routine set to “My Girl” by the Temptations was not what Sgt. Burnside expected when he pulled up, but he was happy to see it. “We see a lot of bad. But we see a lot of good too,” said Burnside. “This is what you should expect from officers throughout the country. When you just deal with each other as people, this is how people act. This is what you should expect.”
