Singer blows crowd away with chilling version of classic folk song

In an unbelievable change of pace, singer David Draiman left his hard rock roots behind when he and his band Disturbed performed a hauntingly beautiful rendition of Paul Simon’s “The Sound of Silence.”

Originally written for Simon & Garfunkel in 1964, this is one of the most recognizable pieces of music from the 20th century.

Even the oldest Simon & Garfunkel fans can’t help but get goosebumps to the sound of this smokey tribute.
