Peter Ellenstein was a budding actor in the 1980s who frequented the sperm bank to make quick cash. He was an anonymous donor, so no potential offspring could ever ask the sperm bank to reveal who he was.
Despite eventually getting married and divorcing, Peter never had any of his own children. Instead, he struggled to make ends meet for the following few decades by taking on odd jobs.
At the age of 57, Peter had given up on his dream of becoming an actor and was working as an Uber driver. His time as a sperm donor was long forgotten.
Then, one day Peter got a message on Facebook from a girl by the name of Rachel. She claimed that Peter, who had at least 25 other children, was her biological father and that she had been raised by a single mother.
Rachel had searched for her biological father for years. She eventually discovered 11 more donor siblings with whom she shared DNA. Together, they collaborated to conduct an investigation and learned that Peter Ellenstein, a former LA actor, was their donor.
After entering his name into a Google search, Rachel discovered his Facebook page.
Peter was in a state of astonishment after hearing the revelation. After a great deal of soul-searching, Peter agreed to meet Rachel and his other children. That choice set off an unbelievable series of events.
