Josette Duran packs a lunch for her son everyday before school, but it’s something that she’s done since the beginning of the school year that has made it noteworthy. She’s begun making two lunches; one for her son Dylan and one for his friend.
At first, she didn’t know why her son was asking her to make him two lunches, then he told her it’s for his friend who never had enough lunch money to get more than one fruit cup.
Dylan’s friend’s mother is a single mom who had just lost her job. Josette didn’t mind making an extra lunch. In fact, she was touched by her son’s consideration for another kid.
