Dolly Parton is an icon in the music industry.
And, unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 25 years, you’ve heard the song “I Will Always Love You.”
The song became VERY popular in 1992 after Whitney Houston released a cover of it. But, Dolly Parton wrote and released the song in 1973.
Dolly wrote it as a farewell to Porter Wagoner who was her partner and mentor before she left to pursue her solo career.
The music video is Dolly’s live performance of “I Will Always Love You” on the show The Wagon House.
