Doris Vehar walks to the end of her driveway every school day to greet the children in school bus #46.
Doris has been greeting the children by waving and blowing kisses for 5 years. On her 88th birthday, they gave her something she’ll never forget. They students call Doris “grandma” and it’s the sweetest thing.
As the school bus drove up to Doris’ driveway, she had no idea what was about to happen. The school bus stopped, and all the children began to sing “Happy Birthday” to their “grandma.” Such a priceless moment!
Don’t you just love this?
