After Pam and Dave Zaring were married and blended their two families, they wanted to get a nice family photo with their two sons and Dave’s mom, Sharon.
A woman claiming to be an ‘experienced, professional photographer’ offered them a photo shoot and a full set of photos for $250. Pam and Dave thought it was a great deal so they gathered their family and met the photographer in St. Louis’s Forest Park for the picture day.
It couldn’t have been a prettier day and everyone had a lovely time. Then, about seven months later, the Zaring family received a CD in the mail from the photographer. Pam opened the files and could not believe what she saw.
She quickly posted on Facebook,
Ok. This is NOT a joke.
We paid a photographer, who claimed to be a professional, $2-250 for a family photo shoot.
Please see these FOR REAL photos she delivered to us….She said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos.
I literally have not laughed this hard in YEARS!!!!!
You can’t make this stuff up…..again, this is NOT a joke – final product.
Pam’s post quickly went viral and was picked up by several news outlets. The photographer later admitted to Pam that she was never taught her how to retouch photos with Photoshop.
The photographer offered a reshoot and a full refund, but Pam declined both offers.
