We’ve all used vending machines for all sorts of snacks. You might have even seen some that dispense other non-food items, but we guarantee that you’ve never seen a vending machine quite like THIS one.
A used car seller in Singapore has built a real life giant vending machine that dishes out full-size, real life, totally real, and we’re not kidding, luxury automobiles including Ferraris and Lamborghinis. If you think that’s crazy, you’d be right; but here it is!
Autobahn Motors opened it’s 15-story facility back in December and cars take up one of sixty slots that are all controlled from the ground level with a touchscreen display by whom we can assume are very rich customers.
Gary Hong, the general manager of Autobahn Motors, says it wasn’t merely a publicity stunt, but they wanted to make the most of the land they had because it’s so hard to afford in Singapore. Standing out from the competition was just a bonus.
Hong told Reuters news, “We needed to meet our requirement of storing a lot of cars. At the same time, we wanted to be creative and innovative.”
Yeah, we’d say it’s innovative. It’s also kinda cool and the cars are gorgeous.
