With 90 mph winds, trees can sometimes be torn right out of the ground as you can see in this astonishing video recorded in Security, Colorado.
This was from a recent storm coming in through a small neighborhood. One of the homeowners was filming the wind and seemed to know what was going to happen. Maybe they’d seen it swaying too far to the right a bit earlier and figured they’d get out their cameras to see what happened.
Nobody was injured and even that guy’s truck managed to get by with only some minor scrapes. Nature can be erratic!
