These Firefighters got together for a hilarious flash mob that has the internet cracking up. It’s a hidden message about safety and it’s great seeing our first responders and heroes having a little fun with their time off.
They save lives all year, and you know what they say, “Work hard. Play hard.”
It’s just a fun dance to “Staying Alive” by Bee Gees. The message behind it though helps to demonstrate the proper tempo for performing CPR (chest compressions).
The American Heart Association was the first to recommend using “Staying Alive” to help teach the proper rhythm required for compressions. You can also use Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust” which clocks in at 100 bpm but the message is a little less positive there.
