Giant tanker doesn’t see the stalled motor boat until it’s too late

An oil tanker didn’t see a stalled motor boat until it was almost too late. The little pleasure craft had dropped anchor to keep from drifting while they attempted to fix the problem with their motor.

A slightly larger pleasure boat noticed the disaster about to happen and immediately took action.

They raced directly toward the tanker and tried signaling it with their on-board PA system. Anyone who’s been on the ocean knows there’s not quick maneuvers for a ship of this size, and it’s the responsibility of the smaller vessel to make way.

The hull of the tanker narrowly misses the tiny craft and the two passengers are forced to simply hang on for the ride through the massive ship’s equally tremendous wake.
