When you were a small child, did you ever pretend the floor was lava and jump from the couch to another chair?
The young adults of today are playing a similar game in public. Someone shouts “the floor is lava” and the other players have 5 seconds to find something “safe” to jump on.
Dozens of these videos have been circulating the internet, usually showing teens climbing on things they shouldn’t like a fruit display at their local grocery store.
In the video below one young lady learned the hard way that a bridge may not be the best place to play this game.
The words across the middle of the video roughly translate to “she’s doing well.”
She takes a rough landing on a set of concrete steps leading below the bridge. This will probably be her last time playing “the floor is lava.”
