Clayton and Brittany Cook were married in their hometown of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, where they both grew up. After the ceremony, they went to Victoria Park with their photographer, Darren Hatt of Hatt Photography, to take some wedding photos along the lovely bridge.
The newlyweds soon spotted a bunch of small children trailing them. Clayton noticed them playing along the water’s edge and had the uneasy feeling that something was awry.
One of the little boys was pushed into the water by another child while Darren took some solo images of Brittany. Unable to swim, the youngster was terrified and struggled to stay above water.
Clayton had left by the time Brittany turned around.
At first, she thought he was playing a joke but then she discovered what he was really doing – right in the middle of their photo shoot.
