The bay mare, Macy, was found freezing with her foals and another mare after someone called with concern about their well-being.
David Boyd, World horse Welfare Chief Filed Officer, went to assess the situation. He said when he got there he believed Macy had given up the will the live. But, when the vet arrived and said she would probably have to be put to sleep, Macy stood up. They saw a spark in her eye and every thing changed.
Macy’s recovery is remarkable.
