School crossing guard hears a child say “Please help me Ms. Crossing Guard, please help me” and acts quickly.
Adrian Young is a 4’8” crossing guard but her size doesn’t measure up to her strength. Young was working and overheard an 8-year-old girl pleading for help. Young knew something wasn’t right, she was witnessing an attempted kidnapping.
“I just told her to grab onto me as tight as she could, and I held onto her and the lady just began to attack me, so I just thought about attacking her to make sure she can’t take this little girl.”
Young was able to stop the attempted kidnapping, and the young girl’s mother couldn’t be more grateful. Young was honored for her heroism and the attempted kidnapper was arrested.
