Louisiana has been hit with terrible flooding recently. Approximately 40,000 homes have been hit and 30,000 people have been rescued according to The Weather Channel. There has even been 11 deaths. With the devastation hitting so many people, you can believe it’s hitting their pets and the wildlife of the area.
Volunteers Darrell Watson and Mike Anderson were making their way through the floodwaters and looking for people to help when they came upon a couple of pit bulls that were struggling to stay above water, and there’s reason to believe they had been there for nearly 16 hours!
