Kraft Heinz decided to give their salaried employees a paid day off instead of spending the exorbitant amount it requires to plug a product during the biggest day on television — The Super Bowl.

Ad spots regularly cost tens of millions for a thirty second advertisement during the big game. Instead, the kings of ketchup decided to make it a holiday they’re calling “Smunday.” No need to call in sick, you already got the day off!
