Brandon Dinetz and Jen Lettman, both attorneys at law, met through work and quickly fell in love.
Over the course of their relationship, Brandon and Jen often turned to each other for help as they prepared their opening statements or feedback after they gave a statement during trial. So Jen didn’t think anything was out of the ordinary when Brandon asked her to attend his latest hearing.
Brandon told Jen that he needed her help for a particular statement and it was crucial that she attend. Jen had no idea that Brandon had been planning this particular “opening statement” for over 5 months.
Everything seemed normal until the judge called for the jurors. Jen noticed Brandon’s dad first, followed by her own sister! As more and more friends and family entered the room, Jen burst into tears.
