In case you haven’t met him yet, let us introduce you to Mike Rowe, a man who truly appreciates a hard day’s work.
Rowe is most well known for narrating Deadliest Catch, a reality show about the rough life of crab fishermen, and Dirty Jobs, a television series that travels the country paying tribute to some of the hardest working men and women in America.
Rowe is focused on bringing attention back to blue collar trade jobs which have been in a steep decline over the past few decades. His trade activism website mikeroweWORKS.com functions as a resource center providing information and forums for people looking to pursue a career in trades that require a little dirt on the hands.
Before he found his calling, Mike was a professional opera singer and has an incredible voice. Back in 2006 Mike sang the United States National Anthem before a minor league baseball game in Bowie, Maryland.
