A young brown-eyed girl wanted nothing more than a pair of baby blues like her large doll. She pried one of the doll’s eyes out and shoved it into her own eyesocket. The giant doll’s eyes were concave pieces of plastic, not complete spheres. They fit over the girl’s eye like an oversized contact lens. The white portion of her “eye” in the video below is actually the plastic eye like these 22mm toy bear’s eyes below:
Screaming in pain, the girl begs her parents for help. After a few minutes of struggling the parents are finally able to remove the stubborn toy from their daughter’s eye.
Hoping to prevent other children from doing the same thing, the girl’s mother Rayssa Ivanny Ficag shared the video on Facebook with the following message (translated) “Wrong idea for child to put doll eye, look what happened to my daughter.”
Eventually the parents pry the piece of plastic free revealing the girl’s severely irritated brown eyes. Hopefully she got away without any corneal abrasions, those things hurt!
