Ashlee Hutt has been accused of injecting her three children with heroin, which she told them was ‘sleep juice’ or ‘feel good medicine.’ The 24-year-old mother was arrested after she and the children’s father failed to appear in court to face charges of child abuse. A friend had called Child Protective Services after they had witnessed Hutt inject her 2, 4, and 6-year-old children with the narcotic.
The probably cause affidavit quoted Child Protective services interview with the 6-year-old child saying “mom and dad give him and his sisters the ‘feel good medicine.'” The child described the medicine as a white powder his parents would mix with water then inject into the children with a needle.
All three children, whose names will not be released to the media, have been placed in foster care. Neighbors report that Sheriff’s Deputies frequently visit the Hutt residence which is filled with garbage and rat droppings.
