Meet Frederik the Great, a Friesian stallion who’s been named the “World’s Most Handsome Horse.”
Take one look at the picture below and it’s obvious why he earned such a bold moniker.

Known for his shiny black coat and absolutely incredible mane, Frederik has a huge following of more than 75,000 people on his very own Facebook page.

Frederik lives at Pinnacle Friesians in the Ozark mountains of the central United States.

The Friesian breed originated in the Netherlands. Resembling light draught horses, Friesians are known for their grace and agility along with large size and beautiful coats. During the Middle Ages, Friesians were considered powerful war horses capable of carrying a knight in full plate armor.
After nearly going extinct multiple times in the last 600 years, Friesians thrive today having recently been introduced to the field of dressage, a highly skilled riding exhibition competition.
