Tim Upton of Aurora, Colorado is sick and tired of teenage thieves stealing packages from porches in his neighborhood.
Upton set up security cameras and captured multiple instances of property destruction and theft. Despite turning the evidence over to police, nothing seemed to stop the thieves.
As the holidays approach, package theft rises. “There’s going to be a lot of packages with probably some decent value, and if these kids don’t get caught, they’re going to continue to do this,” Upton to CBS 4 Denver. Upton decided to teach the thieves a lesson, so he prepared a special care package filled with 15 lbs of dog poo.
After the footage was shared on social media, three high school students contacted Upton with a possible ID for the package thief.
Upton has taken the video to the teen’s high school.
