Valerie Fowler, a 34-year-old mother from Oklahoma, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after she shot her teen daughter’s 31-year-old boyfriend.
Fowler’s daughter told police that her mother kicked in the bedroom door and shot her boyfriend twice. The 16-year-old girl told police that the man visited her multiple times every week after Fowler left for work.
The man ran to a neighbor’s house and called 911. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
