When you turn over a bottle of water should the liquid inside fall down?
While gravity says “yes,” the Hoover Dam says “no!”
While this may look like some sort of movie magic, it’s actually simple science.
The incredible updraft of air blasting up the face of the dam is powerful enough to send that water flying right back in your face.
Tourists from around the globe visit the dam every day and try this little experiment out for themselves.
Luckily for us, some of them brought a camera!
