This occurred during the morning rush at the local Starbucks. One man couldn’t wait for an open parking space, so he simply parked in front of a church’s driveway. This also happened to block the entrance of the church completely.
A neighbor poked his head out and warned the man that this was a church’s driveway. The driver dismissed the man with, “I’ll be just a minute.” So the man decided to do something.
That man’s name was Dale and he lived next to the church, and unfortunately for the driver, Dale didn’t have much to do that day. So he walked back inside, got himself a chair, a book, and his own cup of coffee. Then he took a seat right in front of the double-parked car.
He waited, and that’s all it took. When the driver came out, he couldn’t leave. Dale was sitting right there blocking his exit. Dale looked up at the inconsiderate driver, acted surprised, and dropped a perfect line: “I’ll be just a minute!”
