Sometimes you just need to take a break...

She’s taking a picture of her toddler. That’s when she sees something move in the background

Bianca Dickinson was taking pictures of her toddler, Molly, at their own home in Australia when she saw something that made her heart drop.

They were only outside for maybe 15 minutes when she saw something move in the corner right near her child. For a moment, she thought it was merely a piece of bark getting pushed around by the wind. But then she looked more closely…

Dickinson told ABC, “I was looking through my camera lens and was looking at my daughter. I saw something move in the corner of my eye and actually thought it was bark coming off the tree — yesterday in Victoria it was quite windy — I then looked up to see where the bark had gone.” That’s when she realized it.

She was frightened to see that it wasn’t bark, it was a very deadly brown snake right there. She told ABC News, “I couldn’t believe it, I can’t even look at it to be honest, it’s still terrifying.”

Brown snakes are the leading cause of snake-related deaths in the outback.

The child, Molly, was completely unaware. She even had a big smile on her face as she saw her older brother arriving home from school. The mother says she just stayed still. Fortunately, Molly stayed still as well, and the snake slithered away.

Dickinson said her daughter is very lucky and doesn’t understand exactly what happened.
