A group of wildlife photographers stumbled upon a African Rock Python after hearing a loud commotion from a herd of nearby Impala. The snake was just beginning its meal when they arrived. They could hardly believe their eyes when the reptile started to swallow an Impala calf whole. They captured the bizarre process as the snake separated its jaws to fit the massive meal in its mouth. Experts claim that they snake could go up to a year before its next meal after eating an animal of this size.
