Dennis Edwards was the lead singer of the famous group The Temptations. Edwards joined the Temptations in 1968, taking the spot of David Ruffin.
Edwards was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Temptations in 1989.
Edwards family confirmed his passing to CBS News, saying he was in Chicago, but didn’t disclose cause of death. Edwards was 74-years-old.
