Gary and Charlotte Chaney surprised everyone at the Windy City Jitterbug Club with a special routine that included a secret third dance partner. The adorable couple starts cutting a rug to “Me and Bobby McGee” sung by Rhonda McDaniel when Debbie Wheelis approaches the dance floor.
Dressed in the same outfit as Charlotte, Debbie joins to make the cute duo an even cuter trio. The three friends have an absolute ball on the dance floor sharing smiles and laughter with the crowd.
This video was taken in 2010 and shows the Chaney couple’s skills in the popular dance steps from the Motown and R&B scene of the early 1960s. Sadly Gary passed away earlier this year at the age of 74, but his passion for dance lives on. We’ll miss you Gary!
