A group of tourists were blown away after standing too close to the runway as a jumbo jet began takeoff.
The infamous runway at Maho Beach, St. Maarten is just a few meters away from the public beach. Each year tourists flock to the location taking pictures and video of planes that appear to fly just inches above their heads while landing.
There is a small fence to keep the public off the runway, but common sense is the only thing keeping people safe.
