A wild stallion known as ‘Champ’ bravely rescued a young filly from drowning after she was nearly swept away by a strong river. The filly was pulled away from her mother when the group was attempting to cross the river. Champ saw her distress and went after her. He took her neck in his teeth and helped her brace against the strong current as they slowly worked their way back. Once she was safely with her mother Champ finally let go.
