Meet Zona, a woman who made an appearance on Dr. Phil with a strange problem. She revealed to that she had been pregnant for three years and seven months! While this seems strange enough, her story gets even stranger.
Zona claims she had her tubes tied at the age of 20 to avoid having any more children. But she claims she was startled to realize she was pregnant at the age of 40… and that she stayed that way for nearly four years?!
Despite doctors’ repeated assurances that Zona was not pregnant — and the administration of pregnancy tests, blood tests, and ultrasounds to verify it — Zona informed Dr. Phil that she was experiencing all of the classic pregnancy symptoms, including painful breasts and mood swings.
Above all, she claimed, it was the movement in her stomach that kept her grounded in that belief.
“The doctors are wrong,” Zona claimed. “I don’t care what medical degree they have. I am 1,000% certain that I am pregnant.”
