A woman from Taiwan has become an internet star after photos of her feet went viral.
Her pictures first appeared in the Chinese blog site Dcard, an online community for university students, before spreading across the internet.
Standing just 4 ft. 11 inches tall, the university student’s feet are absolutely incredible.
Her second toe measures a startling 5 cm long, that’s 2 inches!
The woman, who chooses to remain anonymous, claims to attend Tunghai University in Taichung city.
In a post to Dcard she wrote (translated), “Since my childhood, I have always drawn attention whenever I wear flip-flops. [People] would surround me and discuss about me as if I were an animal. [I] have even been told that I hadn’t evolved properly. Some people would ask me to use my “four hands” to climb a tree.”
Her condition is informally known as “Greek feet,” where the second toe is the longest toe of the foot. She shares the same trait with both of her parents and only learned later in life that everyone’s feet didn’t look this way.
“When I first saw other people’s toes, I thought ‘how come their toes are so short?’,” she wrote. “As I grew up, I realised I was the bizarre one after all.”
