The Young @ Heart chorus was founded in 1982 by Bob Cilman and Judith Sharpe in the Walter Salvo House, a housing project for senior citizens in Northampton, Massachusetts.
The very first choir included vererans from both World Wars and a stand up comedian who sang with them though her 100th birthday.
In the past 35 years the Young @ Heart chorus has traveled across the globe bringing joy to everyone who hears them.
The current line-up features singers from the age of 73 to 89, many of which with professional theater experience under their belts. While none of the original singers remain with the cast, the next generation keeps their memory alive through the power of song.
In this breathtaking video they perform a tear-jerking rendition of “Fix you” that grabs onto your heart and just won’t let go.
Like and share this video if their song touched your soul. Please let us know if you’d like to hear more from the Young @ Heart chorus with a comment on Facebook.
