Marie Robinson of England lost her son Jack to brain cancer on April 1, 2014. The sweet little child, who was four years old at the time, was also survived by his identical twin brother and three sisters.
On the third anniversary of Jack’s death, Marie visited his grave. The heartbroken mother, on the other hand, had not anticipated receiving a personal visitor.
Marie got in her car and drove to the cemetery that morning. She thought to herself, “Jack, please show Mummy a sign.”
A small red robin took an immediate interest in her as she sat on the grass near Jack’s headstone, swooping around her and settling confidently on her foot and hand.
Marie was taken aback and pulled out her phone, filming the robin as he looked her in the eyes and then perched on her shoulder, softly pecking at her.
“It brought me to tears,” Marie wrote on Facebook. “Taking it as a sign from Jack.”
Robins are widely considered to represent the presence of loved ones who have passed over in the spiritual community.
Marie’s video has received millions of views and is providing comfort to people all around the world.
