3200-year-old tree too large to photograph finally captured in single massive photo

Surprisingly “The President” is neither the largest nor the widest tree on record, but it is the oldest known living sequoia.

At 3,200-years-old, this tree isn’t just old, it’s ancient! It is so large and the local forest is so dense that it has never been captured in a single photograph, until now. With the help of National Geographic, a team of dedicated photographers took 32 days and 126 photographs to create a single composite image of the breathtaking tree.

The entire process was captured on a breathtaking video by National Geographic.
