Surprisingly “The President” is neither the largest nor the widest tree on record, but it is the oldest known living sequoia.
At 3,200-years-old, this tree isn’t just old, it’s ancient! It is so large and the local forest is so dense that it has never been captured in a single photograph, until now. With the help of National Geographic, a team of dedicated photographers took 32 days and 126 photographs to create a single composite image of the breathtaking tree.
