This is a pretty white peacock and he isn’t any run-of-the-mill species of bird, it’s actually a rare white tailed peacock and he’s beautiful.
Not an albino!
He’s not an albino. He’s got a condition called leucism which causes a loss of pigment. If you notice, his eyes are a normal color.
Peacocks are already known for their wide tails of feathers and this one does it with an entirely monochromatic tone. Its beauty and allure is mesmerizing. So very pretty!
Fun fact!
The males are the ones with the big tails. A lot of people assume that they’re females because they’re so beautiful. That is not the case. The males evolved to have such beautiful tails as a way of attracting mates. It’s a fun fact.
