When officers arrived on the scene, they saw that the bird may have been injured. The eagle was unable to fly away, they even thought it might have been hit by a car.
Officers worked with rescuers to take the bird to safety where it was successfully treated and made a full recovery. One rescuer said, “She’s very lucky.”
