Rod Hummel and his wife have their hands full with three children: Hailey, Jake and Ethan.
Dad was helping Ethan with his homework. So, he gave Jake and Hailey some paper and a pencil to draw to pass the time. Rod posted on Facebook, “I thought I had confiscated all of the markers. I was wrong.”
It didn’t take long for Dad to realize Hailey wasn’t using a pencil to draw, or paper as a canvas. Instead, Hailey had found a purple marker and decided her arms and face were way better than some simple paper.
Dad was curious as to why Hailey marked herself with marker, so he asked her. I don’t think he was ready for her answer. She told her Dad that, “Mommy said I could color my own body.”
Dad couldn’t help but laugh, and neither could we!
It took him about an hour to get the purple marker (mostly) off.
