A few years ago a man named Peter Menzel decided to travel the globe and find out what the rest of the world puts on their weekly shopping list.
Menzel reached out to 30 families who represented the average income and household size for their nation across 24 countries.
He asked each family to purchase a typical week’s worth of food and then pose for a picture in front of their groceries.
The results were spectacular.
