Here’s a classic bit. It might even be the most classic bit in the history of comedy. We all know the joke, “Who’s on first?” That doesn’t mean it’s not still funny!
It manages to bring a smile to my face every single time. Abbott & Costello go back and forth arguing over one major detail. It was first performed on Kate Smith’s Radio Hour all the way back in 1938, and they performed it the rest of their career.
They almost never performed it the same exact way as they weren’t afraid to improvise. See if you can spot anything new in this version that you might have missed.
