Firefighter in Dubai have created a weird new way to reach fires from a new angle. In a city covered in bridges over water, firefighters often face heavy traffic to reach an emergency site.
Now with the Dolphin water jetpack system, they can access a car fire on a bridge without battling their way through traffic.
In the demonstration video below, a fireman uses the Dolphin jetpack to rise up from the water below and reach a simulated truck fire.
While this technology is only useful in very specific scenarios, it could help these fireman drastically cut response times and save lives like never before.
